IMPACT Certificates
The Intentional and Meaningful Pedagogy to Achieve Classroom Transformations (IMPACT) certificate addresses the basic pedagogical elements that make high-impact practices so transformative and guides you to apply high-impact practices to a new course or an existing course that you want to improve.
Supporting Neurodivergent Students Certificate
This series is designed to show help faculty understand and support neurodivergent students in the classroom and beyond.
WAC Certificate
CSUF values writing and the ways writing can enhance learning in any class. To support faculty and staff interested in teaching with writing, the Writing across the Curriculum (WAC) Program is offering a WAC Certificate through the FDC. This certificate program will familiarize candidates with WAC theory and practice and enable them to incorporate meaningful writing assignments into their courses.
Project upGRADS Certificate
This certificate focuses specifically on strengthening faculty abilities to support Black and Hispanic graduate students and build students’ sense of belonging with culturally sensitive advising and the fundamentals of mentorship.
Inclusive Certificate
The focus of this certificate is to help faculty examine their beliefs about human diversity in all of its forms, deepen cultural competency in the classroom and workplace, and gain knowledge across the broad range of diversity issues.
TNT Series
The Teaching and Technology series helps you explore the variety of features of Canvas LMS and its integrated tools, such as H5P and Canvas Studio, to create engaging and interactive learning experiences for your students.
Mindful Certificate
The focus of this certificate is to help individuals grow personally and professionally by learning and applying mindful techniques to themselves and their teaching.
Qualitative Methods Certificate
To support faculty in expanding their repertoire of research methodologies, the Faculty Development Center, is offering a qualitative methods certificate. This certificate program will position faculty to develop methodological knowledge and skills to design and execute a qualitative research project with a specific focus on ethical and responsive research practices.
EP Series
The Equitable Pedagogy (EP) Series helps faculty know more about who our students are and what evidence-based instructional practices have proven most effective at facilitating learning for students from diverse backgrounds and with varying degrees of preparation.
Mental Health Ally Certificate
The Mental Health Ally Program is designed to provide mental health education, empower mental health allyship, and help Cal State Fullerton (CSUF) students by creating a campus culture that supports mental health. This certificate is offered by the FDC in Partnership with Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS).
