How does a student access and submit a Turnitin Assignment on Blackboard?

Log on to Blackboard

Click on the class that you wish to submit the Turnitin Assignment for

Locate the Assignment by clicking on one of the Course Menus (eg Assignments or Course Documents). Instructors may place their Turnitin Assignments on any of the folders.

Once located, click on the View/Complete link:

This would take you to the "View Turnitin Assignment" page. Click on the button under the word "Submit", to submit your assignment

Give the submission a title eg: Assignment 1 etc., you may review your first and last name which should already be populated by the system. Click on Browse to locate and attach your assignment submission file from your computer or removable disk. Once you have added the file that you wish to upload click on the Submit button at the top right hand.

You will get a preview window which will show you the document that you are submitting, review and make sure that it is the correct document and then click on "Yes, Submit" to submit your assignment

You have now successfully submitted your assignment using Blackboard - this assignment will be submitted to Turnitin.com and an Originality Report will be generated. Your instructor can permit or deny your access to the originality report.
