Adding an Item and scores on the Gradebook
The Gradebook allows faculty to provide grades to the students for class requirements. Faculty can add items and grades to the Gradebook for work that has been done outside the Blackboard Learning System:
1. Login and select the course Web site.

2. Click the Control Panel link.

3. Click Gradebook.

4. Click Add Item
5. Type the item name, select a category, provide a description (optional), select the date, points possible, and select an option for Display As.

6. Select the options
7. Click the Submit button.

8. Click the OK button to return to the Gradebook.
9. Click on the label for the new item to add the scores.

10. Click on Item Grade List.

11. Type the scores and click the Submit button.
12. Click the OK button to return to the Gradebook.
