Copying Course Materials in Blackboard

Faculty can copy course materials from an existing course Web site to a new course Web site by following these steps:

1. Login and select the course Web site that has the course materials you need to copy.

Step 1: Select the course Web site with course materials

2. Click the Control Panel link.

Step 2: Click the Control Panel link

3. Click Course Copy.

Step 3: Click the Course Copy Link

4. Click Copy Course Materials into an Existing Course.

Step 4: Click Course Materials into an Existing Course

5. Click on the Browse button.

Step 5: Click on the Browse button

6. Click the Search button.

Note: For faster performance select the Instructor radio button and type your username before clicking the search button.

Step 6: Click the Search button

7. Click the Select button and select the destination course.

Step 7: Click the Select button

8. Select the course materials you want to copy.

Warning: Do not select the enrollment checkbox or you will copy the students roster from the previous semester. The IT department will import the student information.

Step 8: Select tge course materials

9. Click the Submit button.

Step 9: Click the Submit button

You will receive a confirmation by e-mail to let you know that your request was completed and successful.
