Archiving a Blackboard course Web site

The Archive Course tool allows faculty to create a permanent record of a course including all the content and student's work. Archived courses are saved as compressed files using the extension .zip. Archiving a course does not remove/delete it from the Blackboard Learning system.

In the event faculty need to restore a Blackboard course Web site, they will need to send the .zip file to the Blackboard Administrator to restore the course. Faculty cannot restore their own courses.
