How to add Blackboard as a Trusted Site on Internet Explorer 7

Some of the Blackboard features (eg: Elapsed time view on a timed quiz, the Add Item GUI etc.) may not appear if you are using Internet Explorer version 7 or higher. In order for these features to become available you must add https://fullerton.blackboard.com as a "Trusted Site".

Step 1:

Open the Internet Explorer 7 browser and Click on TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS

Step 2:

(1) Click on the Security Tab

(2) Click on Trusted sites to select it as a zone

(3) Click on the Sites button

Step 3:

(1) Type in "https://fullerton.blackboard.com" in the text field

(2) Click the Add button

Note: make sure you put https:// and not just http://

https://fullerton.blackboard.com has now been added as a Trusted site and all Blackboard features should be available to you. Click on Close to exit the window.
