WAC LIAISONS - Writing & AI Resources

WAC & AI Resources

WAC Library

The WAC Library features articles about WAC theories and practices, writing to learn, and writing in the disciplines.

Generative AI Faculty Resources

This self-enroll Canvas site, developed by WAC LIAISON's 2023 "Gen AI Boot Camp," offers the CSUF community syllabus advice, annotated readings about AI & education, and classroom resources for all eight colleges.  There's even a "Crash Course" on the homepage.  Check it out!

CSUF's “Using AI Technology Guidelines”

CSUF is committed to supporting teaching, learning, research, and service. Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) has the power to facilitate and disrupt each of these areas. The use of GAI tools requires a reflective approach, including consideration of biases and inaccuracies in AI output, as well as ethical use of these technologies. The University community should investigate where and when generative AI might be appropriate for achieving their objectives and should be transparent about its use. Guidelines have been developed for the campus community.

Other CSUF Resources

Faculty Development Center

FDC workshops offer faculty members a place to connect, create, and collaborate with colleagues. Its in-person and online resources support faculty in their work as teachers, scholars, artists, and leaders.

University Learning Center

Our goal at the University Learning Center is to provide currently enrolled and matriculated Cal State Fullerton students with the tools to become self-regulated learners. We believe that all learners need support that extends beyond the classroom to reinforce and amplify daily lessons.

Online Writing Tutor at the University Learning Center

The University Learning Center online writing tutor will review up to five pages of students' paper.
