Mentoring Program
CSUF Freshman Programs extends a cordial invitation
to you to become a mentor for first-year students!
In an attempt to more effectively link first-year
students with mentors on campus, Freshman Programs is compiling
a list of faculty and staff members who are willing to serve as
mentors and encouraging first year students to select a mentor.
By allowing students to select their own mentor, Freshman Programs
is optimistic that students will be more likely to pursue the mentoring
relationship.
Freshman Programs is collaborating with the Cocurricular
Achievement Record (CAR) Program to link sophomore, junior and senor
students with a mentor. Please indicate if you prefer mentoring
via this option.
Please let me know via e-mail or phone if and how
you would like to continue your mentoring involvement this year:
A. I would like to
mentor a first-year student.
B. I would prefer to
mentor a sophomore, junior or senior student.
C. I am not interested
mentoring at this time.
