This very helpful service comes to you from Cal Poly Pomona to help the campus community more accurately pronounce some common Asian first and last names. Native speakers provide linguistic hints, phonetic pronunciations and/or sound bytes for Cambodian, Cantonese, Chinese/Mandarin, Filipino, and Vietnamese names. A link to the Flute web site also assists with French, German, Hungarian, and Russian names.
