TLAC

Background

The Teaching and Learning Academy (TLAC), begun by the Faculty Development Center in 1999, offers full- and part-time faculty, graduate students, librarians, and teaching staff members of CSU Fullerton the opportunity to attend workshops focused on the challenges that new and experienced teachers face at the four-year university and at the community college. Workshops are designed and offered by CSUF colleagues whose enthusiasm for their profession is reflected in their willingness to share their knowledge and experience.

The workshops are intentionally designed for a broad audience of both experienced and novice instructors from across university disciplines. Participants will necessarily have to adapt the general concepts presented in workshops to the specifics of their own disciplines and are welcome to discuss ideas with the Faculty Coordinator for Teaching and Learning.
