Services
- The Quick Look help/answer chart
provides a quick reference to frequently asked questions, including
locations in the Faculty Handbook, the Schedule of Classes, the
University Catalog, and University Policy Statements (UPS).
- Faculty Affairs and
Records is the office that maintains all personnel records
and processes documents for RTP. FAR's
website contains the Faculty Handbook
(due for revision this year, so it's a bit outdated and please
check the resources on this web site which are current if you
have a question). The Handbook for Part-Timers
is actually more current, and also a useful resource for full-time
faculty.
- Faculty Development Center
offers workshops and classes on teaching and learning, including
Blackboard and setting up faculty web sites.
- Employee Training
and Development offers workshops on basic computer literacy,
and classroom applications of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- The Pollak Library offers on-line services, interlibrary loans,
and classroom assistance.
- The Academic Senate
is the legislative branch of the university.
- Titan Shops includes
the bookstore and course packet reproduction.
- Safety issues are the concern of Environmental Health and Safety, which handles
safety issues for classrooms and laboratories, and emergency management,
handled by the campus Police
Department. On the Police Department home page, you will
find links to CalTrans for regular updates
about traffic conditions on California highways.
- The Women's
Center offers support groups for students and informational
workshops for faculty and students. It is located in University
Hall 205.
- African American Faculty & Staff Association. The purpose of forming this organization was to bridge the gap between faculty and staff, develop a system of advocacy for employees of African descent and to bring African/African American cultural activities to Cal State Fullerton.
- The
Arboretum consists of 25 acres on the north end of campus,
and is used as a living laboratory for classes as well as a resource
for the campus and the community.
- The campus phone
book includes a directory of staff, faculty, and departments.
