Services

  • The Quick Look help/answer chart provides a quick reference to frequently asked questions, including locations in the Faculty Handbook, the Schedule of Classes, the University Catalog, and University Policy Statements (UPS).

  • Faculty Affairs and Records is the office that maintains all personnel records and processes documents for RTP.  FAR's website contains the Faculty Handbook (due for revision this year, so it's a bit outdated and please check the resources on this web site which are current if you have a question).  The Handbook for Part-Timers is actually more current, and also a useful resource for full-time faculty.

  • Faculty Development Center offers workshops and classes on teaching and learning, including Blackboard and setting up faculty web sites.

  • Employee Training and Development offers workshops on basic computer literacy, and classroom applications of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • The Pollak Library offers on-line services, interlibrary loans, and classroom assistance.

  • The Academic Senate is the legislative branch of the university.

  • Titan Shops includes the bookstore and course packet reproduction.

  • Safety issues are the concern of Environmental Health and Safety, which handles safety issues for classrooms and laboratories, and emergency management, handled by the campus Police Department.  On the Police Department home page, you will find links to CalTrans for regular updates about traffic conditions on California highways.

  • The Women's Center offers support groups for students and informational workshops for faculty and students.  It is located in University Hall 205.

  • African American Faculty & Staff Association. The purpose of forming this organization was to bridge the gap between faculty and staff, develop a system of advocacy for employees of African descent and to bring African/African American cultural activities to Cal State Fullerton.

  • The Arboretum consists of 25 acres on the north end of campus, and is used as a living laboratory for classes as well as a resource for the campus and the community.

  • The campus phone book includes a directory of staff, faculty, and departments.
