Faculty Enhancement and Instructional Development Grants [FEID]

PURPOSE

The Vice President for Academic Affairs has approved funding for the Faculty Instructional Development grants for projects aimed at improving the instructional process on campus. These intramural grants form one of the most important parts of the Faculty Development program, in which a variety of efforts are being made to improve opportunities for faculty at CSUF.

ELIGIBILITY

All full-time, tenure-track faculty, librarians and academic counselors (Unit 3) are eligible for this award.

AWARDS

The FDC Intramural Awards Subcommittee will recommend recipients to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. The individual grant awards will include 3 WTU and/or up to $500 in Operating and Equipment funds. The awards generally do not include travel expenses. Funds for cash awards will be transferred to the recipient’s department account or accounts.

NOTE: Applicants who request money plus WTU will not be at a disadvantage in the evaluation process.
