About
the keynotes…
Peter Seldin is Distinguished Professor of Management at Pace University,
Pleasantville, New York. A specialist in the development and evaluation
of college teaching, he has been consultant to more than 300 colleges
and universities throughout the United States and in 32 countries around
the world. Author of eleven well-received books, including the best-selling
Teaching Portfolio, Second Edition, and Changing
Practices in Evaluating Teaching, he has also contributed numerous
articles on teaching, student ratings and academic culture to such publications
as The New York Times, The Chronicle of Higher Education,
and Change Magazine. Peter has won awards both as an
educator and a grower of cherry tomatoes.
Anthony Greenwald is Professor of Psychology at University of Washington.
He has served as Editor of the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology
and Chair of the Society of Experimental Social Psychology. As a researcher
he has published several books and more than 100 articles on attitudes,
the self, research methodology, student ratings, unconscious influences
on affect and cognition. His recent creation, the Implicit Association
Test, is receiving wide use to investigate unconscious components of
prejudices and stereotypes. Greenwald received the Donald T. Campbell
Award from the Society of Personality and Social Psychology in 1995
and is currently a recipient of a Research Scientist Award from the
National Institutes of Health.
