They say a picture is worth a thousand words. But displaying high-quality,
high-resolution images in your classroom or on an online course
site in such a way that you can actually use those images to teach
has been a tremendous hassle … until now.
Now, with a new Faculty Development Center (FDC) tool called “TrueSpectra,”
you can easily:
Put easy-to-view, high-resolution pictures in your distance learning
courses;
Use high-resolution images in your online PowerPoint presentations;
and
Build high-resolution image libraries that you, your colleagues,
and your students can view from almost any Internet-connected computer
in the world, including the computers in CSUF’s smart classrooms.
The Faculty Development Center (FDC) invites you to join us at
Noon on Tuesday, December 10, as we launch TrueSpectra, an easy-to-use
tool that lets you dynamically use, render, and manipulate high-resolution
images using nothing but a Web browser and an Internet connection.
And, best of all, you, your colleagues, and your students can access
those images from home … even with the slowest Internet connection.
The revolution begins on Tuesday, December 10.
