Using the Decision Support Center
After a real meeting you'll need to take a nap, or walk around the campus, or relive the highs and lows with some of your colleagues. Yet at the same time the weariness you feel will not be unpleasant because it will come accompanied by a conviction that something was actually done, that the enterprise was moved forward a bit (incremental progress is the best kind in an academic institution), that your heads and chairs are saying to their faculties: The dean's in his office and all is (relatively) well with the world.

Description
When was the last time you were at a meeting where something actually got done? If it's been awhile, the FDC has a facility and a program that may be just what your group needs to break through into productivity. We are pleased to offer the Decision
Support Center to the CSUF community. Faculty, staff and administrators
are welcome to use this facility and its software, Groupsystems,
to enhance and expedite various types of group consensus, brainstorming
and decision making processes. To learn more about the DSC and its
use please see the DSC web page.
This one hour workshop will show you how the DSC's software works,
and give information on reserving, using and getting the most from
a DSC meeting.
