This workshop focuses on obtaining a teaching position in a community college. The panelists, faculty and administrators from three local community colleges, share their personal experiences and perspectives on preparing for a career in a community college, applying for positions, and successfully navigating the recruitment process. The audience is encouraged to ask questions.
Individuals interested in tips on teaching and learning in the community college should attend the Community College Round Table Discussion offered during the Spring semester.
This workshop is offered once a year. It is a required workshop for those pursuing a TLAC Certificate with an emphasis in Community College Teaching. Individuals working towards the Teaching and Learning Certificate are welcome to take this workshop as an elective.
