During this short, 1-hour workshop, we will explore the virtual world of Second Life and review how Harvard is using this software to collaborate with students in their distance education program.

Second Life software is ready and available in the Faculty Development Center lab. You will have the opportunity to explore Second Life and fly, swim, shop, hike, teleport, and ride a motorcycle, etc.  The choice is yours! But all the while, let's be thinking about applications that might enhance learning.
