Introduction to iLinc: Everything you need to know to establish a virtual environment for blended learning and collaboration
Description
The virtual classroom is a shared cyberspace enabling you the instructor to dynamically deliver content, provide immediate feedback and guidance, and engage in a mix of testing, assessment activities. The virtual classroom or meeting room approach is interactive, personal and collaborative. While this approach does not necessarily eliminate the need and value of convening and meeting in person, it contributes to blended learning environments and can often surpass the physical in-person classroom experience by engaging learners with diverse learning styles.
This hands-on workshop will introduce instructors to the session leading capabilities of MeetingLinc.

Prerequisites:
- Familiarity with Blackboard recommended (initial iLinc integration is through Blackboard)
- General familiarity with web conferencing tools such as Messenger or Skype helpful
