Getting Started with Dreamweaver

Description

If you have a website that we are hosting for you on the faculty server and you would like to get started with it and begin uploading content to it, this workshop is for you. Or if you simply want to learn the most popular web authoring tool in the industry come and attend this workshop.

You will get hands-on training on Dreamweaver CS 3 and will be introduced to the following concepts:

  • How to create a dreamweaver SITE.
  • How to create a remote connection to the faculty server, using FTP.
  • Introduction to the Dreamweaver user interface.
  • How to create HTML pages and insert content.
  • How to add images and other graphics.
  • How to add tables.
  • How to add hyperlinks and email links.

Requirements for the workshop:

  • A current website to which you have authoring permission.
  • Understanding of files and folder structure.
  • Knowledge of HTML is a plus, but not required.
