Description

An introduction to logistic regression -- predicting dichotomous outcomes from a set of dichotomous and continuous predictors.

Objectives

Participants will learn how to :

Formulate logistic regression problems
Estimate model coefficients
Check assumptions
Interpret output using SPSS

Prerequisites

Basic understanding of statistics
Hands-on experience using Windows, a keyboard, and mouse
Knowledge of Windows file management -- opening, closing, and saving files
