Photo Editing with Photoshop Elements for Everyone!

Description

This hands-on workshop introduces you to Adobe Photoshop Elements, a software program which enables you to quickly and easily edit digital images or photographs. These enhanced images can be uploaded to Blackboard, added to your PowerPoint presentations, posted on a website, printed or emailed.

Instructors are invited to use Photoshop Elements in the Faculty Development Center's lab at no charge.Photoshop Elements can be purchased from academic software retailers for the educational price of $65. A free 30-day trial version is available at the Adobe http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshopelwin/?promoid=BONSY

Objectives

  • Understand the Photoshop Editor Workspace
  • Learn how to use key photo editing tools and palettes to edit and enhance less-than-perfect photos.
  • Gain hands-on experience editing real photos of people and places

Prerequisites

  • Knowledge of Windows file management -- opening, closing, and saving files
