PowerPoint for Intermediate Users
Description
This hands-on workshop introduces a variety of useful PowerPoint features. Faculty will learn how to create hyperlinks, tables, and a variety of charts; add animation schemes, slide transitions, and narration; save a read-only PowerPoint Show and publish their PowerPoint presentation for the web. Participants will create a PowerPoint presentation utilizing the skills they learn in the workshop.
Objectives
- Add a hyperlink to a web page.
- Add a hyperlink to a file.
- Create a data chart, an organizational chart, and a flow chart.
- Create a table.
- Add a slide transition.
- Add an animation scheme.
- Edit the color scheme of a Slide Design.
- Replace the fonts in a PowerPoint
- Add narration to a PowerPoint presentation.
- Add speaker notes.
- Save a read only PowerPoint SlideShow for presentation.
- Save a PowerPoint presentation for the web.
Prerequisites
- At least six months of continuous, hands-on experience creating basic PowerPoint presentations with text and graphics.
