Let's Make A PowerPoint Presentation
Description
This workshop is designed for faculty who have previously taken a PowerPoint workshop. If you would like to test out your new PowerPoint skills in an open and relaxed environment, then this workshop is for you.During this workshop you will create your PowerPoint presentations using the content you bring to the workshop (audio files, image files, and text files) or you can create new content during the workshop.
Your colleagues will be working with you side-by-side creating and editing their own PowerPoint presentations. Please bring your notes, ideas, and content so that you can develop your PowerPoint presentation. This opportunity will allow you to share experiences and learn this new technology as a community. FDC consultants will be available to assist you.
Objectives
• Apply the skills you acquired during the PowerPoint workshop.
• Use the software available at the FDC to record, edit and complete a PowerPoint presentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues.
• Upload completed PowerPoints to Blackboard and/or Faculty website.
• Explore the PowerPoint Community site available in Blackboard.
Prerequisites
- This workshop is limited to 20 participants.
- Basic use of PowerPoint.
