MERLOT
Description
At the MERLOT workshop you will learn how to use MERLOT and strategies for incorporating it as a teaching and learning resource. MERLOT is a Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and On-Line Teaching (MERLOT) site. It contains a vast collection of interactive learning materials, assignments, and reviews. Additionally, MERLOT is a national network of online learning communities that selects and peer-reviews learning materials.
What is the value of MERLOT to individual faculty?
Most faculty members do not have the time to develop electronic content; nor are they interested in adopting a complete pre-packaged course. MERLOT provides a means of easily and readily incorporating online materials into your course and syllabus.
