BB 3 - Blackboard: Online Gradebook

Description

This hands-on workshop demonstrates how to create an online gradebook to record student scores, calculate grades automatically or manually, and track submission of assignments. Students can view grades online using Blackboard's My Grades tool.The benefits of using the Blackboard grading system will be reviewed and discussed during the workshop. The gradebook can be exported into an Excel spreadsheet.

Prerequisites
  • Blackboard Course Web Site Design and Development workshop.
Objectives
  • Add, modify, and remove grade columns.
  • Set display options such as display as score, percentage, or letter grade.
  • Customize the grading scale.
  • Enter grades and feedback.
  • View and modify scores and grades.
  • Set a weight for each item.
  • Export the online gradebook.
  • Upload grades from an Excel spreadsheet
