Eliminate Paper/Save Trees: Using the Blackboard Assignment Tool

Description

Learn how to set up your Blackboard course so students can submit their assignments online.  This tool makes it easy to keep homework organized, monitor submission status, view and grade assignments, provide written feedback, and even download the files if desired. This tool provides many more features than the Digital Dropbox.

How does it work? Create a student assignment by filling out Bb's online form. Blackboard will automatically create a link for students to use to submit their work. It's as simple for the student as attaching a file to an email.

When assignments are submitted through Blackboard an icon appears in the instructor Gradebook, click it to the grade the assignment and provide written feedback which students can view through their MyGrades tool. Prefer to view or store assignments on your own computer, download all the submitted assignments all at once.
