Description

This hands-on workshop demonstrates how to design and develop a Blackboard course site using the features available in the control panel. Faculty will learn how to design the navigation, organize course materials using folders, enable and disable tools, upload a syllabus, create an announcement, create links, and customize the course appearance.

Objectives

Identify features on the Control Panel.
Create folders.
Upload documents.
Create external links.
Create announcements
Create a faculty profile.
Manage the course menu.
Enable and disable tools.
Change settings to customize the course design.

Prerequisites

Getting Started with Blackboard workshop (recommended).
Basic computer skills.
Opening, closing and saving documents.
