Blackboard 3-hour Crash Course

Description

This fast-paced three-hour workshop will cover basic functionalities of Blackboard. This workshop combines segments from several other FDC Blackboard workshops. Included in the workshop will be topics such as uploading documents, adding and creating online tests and assignments, basic functions of Gradebook and using the Discussion Board and Virtual Chat.

If you would like to quickly and effectively learn Blackboard this course is for you. You will rapidly acquire the basic knowledge and skill to create a Blackboard course.

Several areas of Blackboard will be covered through hands-on exercises in a relatively fast pace, and you will acquire skills and the confidence to start using various functionalities of Blackboard.

Note: If you would like to learn Blackboard progressively, consider taking our regular Blackboard workshops that cover each item of Blackboard in a seperate workshop, these workshops are offered weekly.

Prerequisites
  • Previous, hands-on experience using Windows and a Web browser like Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator.
  • Knowledge of Windows file management: opening, closing, and saving files.
