Teaching and Learning Coordinator, Dr. Juan Carlos Gallego, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures.  His background is in teaching English as a second language.  He has been at Cal State Fullerton since 1997, and in 2002-2003 was Director of International Programs for the CSU in Spain where he coordinated study abroad programs in that country for students from all CSU campuses.  Dr. Gallego has a special interest in working with faculty on issues related to effective curricula, pedagogy and assessment, particularly with regard to the promotion of effective teaching strategies.
