Cynthia Gautreau is currently completing a doctoral degree in curriculum and instruction in higher education. Her current research focuses on technology integration in higher education, faculty motivation factors, instructional design, and education technology. Her education background includes a Master of Education in Education Technology and Multimedia, a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies.
She is a veteran educator with thirteen years of experience in education at various levels. Cynthia effectively implemented classroom teaching strategies emphasizing technology integration throughout the curriculum.
Prior to working at Cal State Fullerton she instructed graduate level courses at Claremont Graduate University and Cal Poly Pomona. The graduate level courses she taught included: Learning Theories, Technology Integration K-12 Foundations of Educational Technology Literacy Innovative Technology in the Elementary and Secondary Classroom, Latino Perspectives on Schools and Education, Teaching and Working with Diverse Communities, Case Study Analysis, Ethnographic Writings and Research, Teaching Issues, and Models of Teaching.
